Chicken and Linguine in Creamy Tomato Sauce

1 lb. boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into ½ inch strips
1 large can crushed tomatoes
Olive Oil
1 small onion, chopped
8 oz. linguine or spaghetti
½ c. heavy cream
Salt, pepper, basil, garlic, oregano, a pinch of red or cayenne pepper




Cook pasta according to directions. Slightly season chicken with salt and pepper. Heat oil in pan over medium heat and brown chicken. Remove and set aside. Saute onion in pot. Add crushed tomatoes and seasonings. Keep heat on medium and add cream. Mix well. Add chicken and simmer until flavors mix and chicken is done. Add sauce to spaghetti. Sprinkle with Romano cheese.
