Cream Cheese Frosting



1 pound cream cheese (2 eight-ounce packages), at room temp
2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. unsalted butter, room temperature
2 pounds of confectioners’ sugar, sifted (7 cups)



Beat cream cheese and vanilla until light and creamy, about 2 minutes. Add butter, beating until incorporated. Gradually add sugar, beating until incorporated.

Frost Hummingbird Cake.
