The Most Forgotten Element of Success

Respect is the most forgotten element of success.

Everyone deserves respect.

Treat everyone with politeness, even those who are rude to you-not because they are nice, but because you are.

Manners are a sensitive awareness of the feelings of other. If you have that awareness, you have good manners, no matter what fork you use. – Emily Post

Without feelings of respect, what is there to distinguish men from beasts? – Confucius

Respect is how you “look back” at yourself and others.

There are two things people want more than sex and money…recognition and praise. – Mary Kay Ash

The others-focused aspect of the Power of Respect elevates the recipient of respect, causing them to operate at  higher performance.

Being respectful to others make them feel valued.

Respectful people are trusted.

Respect fosters “connectedness” which leads to:
•    Stronger personal relationships
•    Greater employee loyalty
•    Higher customer sales
•    Improvements in education
•    Greater creativity
